How To Identify Your Skin Type

Identifying your skin type is usually easy, you just have to look over it for factors it has. But if you wanna know it urgently, then wash your face and wait for an hour and then check what signs match yours:

Oily Skin

You always get comments about that shine on your face and no matter how frequently you wash, it comes back after a few hours? Welcome yourself to oily skin type.

Oily skin type means that your skin is loaded with moisture, it is good to fight against dryness but a lot of moisture can be a bit problematic. While examining your face, you might see that you have plenty of blackheads around your nose, chin and forehead area. You can also see open pores around your nose and cheeks and getting rid of them may feel like a task.

How often do you get acne and breakouts? Quite often right, then this is your skin type.

Points to be taken care of:

  • Do Not wash your face more than twice.
  • Use a gentle cleanser and don't scrub a lot.
  • Try to not to pop or squeeze pimples.

Normal Skin

Hello, you lucky ones? You have the right amount of moisture that helps you with no dryness and no oiliness. And, you might occasionally experience dry patches or breakouts but it's normal. Just make sure to wash your face twice a day and never forget to moisturize. Using a good sunscreen can help you protect from those harsh UV rays.

Points to be taken care of:

  • You might get acne occasionally but don't pop it.
  • Try to drink alot of water as it will increase your glow.
  • Try to wash face twice a day.

A big "NO" should be your answer to whenever someone tries to pull your cheeks? Dryness is your soul sign and you are always worried about that. It will be common in your case that sunlight and wind will make your skin worse. Your skin can crack, peel or become itchy.

Back of your hands and arms will be more rough and scaly.
